Les abeilles butineuses introduisent le toxique dans la ruche avec le nectar qu&rsquo;elles rapportent.  L&rsquo;article <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"(texte int\u00e9gral en anglais ici) (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/royalsocietypublishing.org\/doi\/10.1098\/rspb.2019.2442#d3e871\" target=\"_blank\">(texte int\u00e9gral en anglais ici)<\/a> d\u00e9taille les exp\u00e9riences men\u00e9es pour aboutir \u00e0 cette conclusion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap\">Plus en d\u00e9tail, les chercheurs ont test\u00e9 les capacit\u00e9s d&rsquo;apprentissage  de populations d&rsquo;abeilles expos\u00e9es au n\u00e9onicotinoide \u00e0 divers stades de leur d\u00e9veloppement. Les abeilles expos\u00e9es au produit r\u00e9pondent moins bien qu&rsquo;une population t\u00e9moin, prot\u00e9g\u00e9e du produit. Elles ont significativement de plus grosses difficult\u00e9s d&rsquo;apprentissage que la population t\u00e9moin. Cela les rendra moins efficaces et met en p\u00e9ril la survie d&rsquo;une ruche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap\">Les chercheurs ont aussi proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 des tomographies du cerveau des abeilles pour d\u00e9couvrir si des zones \u00e9taient impact\u00e9es. <br>Ils ont constat\u00e9 qu&rsquo;une des cinq zones \u00e9tudi\u00e9es (calyces lobe) \u00e9tait significativement plus petite que dans la population t\u00e9moin. Les autres zones n&rsquo;\u00e9taient pas significativement r\u00e9duites, m\u00eame si elles l&rsquo;\u00e9taient quelques peu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En conclusion (je r\u00e9sume) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>sur la population t\u00e9moin, plus le lobe calycal est gros meilleur est l&rsquo;apprentissage,<\/li><li>sur les populations intoxiqu\u00e9es, le handicap d&rsquo;apprentissage est ind\u00e9pendant de la taille du lobe calycal,<\/li><li>quelle que soit la p\u00e9riode d&rsquo;exposition des abeilles (larves ou jeunes adultes) au produit, et la dur\u00e9e d&rsquo;exposition, les trois premiers jours du stade adulte, (quand les abeilles apprennent leur comportement d&rsquo;abeilles) sont critiques.
